NAIO™, Continuum-Inspired Movement & Body of Wonder Nature Practices in Epidaurus, Greece

Dates to be confirmed — expressions of interest are welcome.

The Garden of Life Retreat is a 5-day somatic retreat by the sea in Epidaurus, Greece, exploring inner wisdom, embodied awareness, fluid movement, nature connection, and the living movements of wholeness.

Set within the healing landscape of the Peloponnese Peninsula, this retreat brings together NAIO™ Holistic Awareness Process, Continuum-inspired somatic movement, and Body of Wonder Nature Practices. Through gentle embodied inquiry, movement, breath, sensing, reflection, water, landscape, and relationship with place, participants are invited to reconnect with the body as part of the living world.

Epidaurus is known for its ancient healing traditions, sacred sites, coastal beauty, olive groves, clear waters, and proximity to the ancient theatre and Asklepian healing sanctuary. The retreat offers an opportunity to rest, restore, deepen body awareness, and explore the inner life of the body in relationship with nature, water, culture, and sacred place.

The Retreat Experience

Retreat days may include NAIO™ awareness practices, fluid movement, meditation, reflective inquiry, Body of Wonder Nature Practices, swimming, snorkelling, walking, time by the sea, and visits to archaeological and natural sites in the surrounding region.

Body of Wonder Nature Practices invite participants to slow down, sense, move, listen, and enter deeper relationship with the living world. These practices may include walking, water awareness, embodied listening, sensory exploration, creative reflection, and gentle somatic invitations that support presence, regulation, vitality, creativity, and wonder.

There may also be opportunities to visit sacred sites such as the Asklepian healing sanctuary of Epidaurus, the ancient theatre, the sunken city, olive groves, coastal paths, and other places of natural and cultural significance throughout the Peloponnese.

Location & Accommodation

The retreat is planned for a seafront location in the Epidaurus region, with comfortable accommodation and access to the sea, gardens, and surrounding landscapes. Mornings may begin with breakfast overlooking the water, with views toward the Methana volcanic landscape across the bay.

The area offers a rare combination of natural beauty, ancient healing history, clear waters, quiet coastal atmosphere, and access to archaeological sites. Participants may have the opportunity to snorkel near the sunken city, walk through olive groves, swim in the sea, and spend time in the living landscape of the Peloponnese.
